Wordle, anyone else addicted?

I look at the stats on Wordle Bot after finishing the puzzle. The 38th most popular guess on turn 1 today (0.4% of all players) was the correct answer. For all those who've seen the answer today, it's clearly not a guess most people would make. So lots of those people must logically be looking up the answer first just to get it right on the first 'guess'. I wonder what the point of that is?

Who on earth chooses today’s answer as a first guess? Methinks something’s afoot.
