Yep. Sorry to say it, but if Page had been the one who'd served up the last half a dozen or so performances, people would be up in arms. An alarming regression.
Agreed.

Obviously if we win the next 3 then happy days and we’re off to North America, but they’ll have have play much better in at least 1 or 2 or those games.

I think the team does look pretty poor right now, but when I go through player by player, I am more worried about them than I am the coach. Hard to stomach, but we may have already had our glory days, so I am going to enjoy any tournament appearance that comes.

Yep, squad is atrocious

Yep. Given our history, we should probably be thankful that when we had one of our very occasional world-class players to call on, we actually had good quality players (Allen, Williams, Ramsey, Davies) to play alongside him.

Last part is definitely true. We’ve been to 3 of the last 5 tournaments (and penalty kicks away from a 4th) having never got to one in my lifetime.

We’ve still got a chance of this one and will almost certainly be at Euro 2028 so 4 or 5 out of 7 is pretty remarkable for a country with 3 million people (even with a World class player for much of that).
