• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

20 is a stretch as that goes back to the Vetch era

I'll give you 15 easily.

On paper no.

In the way it's managed absolutely

Bob Bradley would give this a better shot

On paper it definitely is as well.

Why do so many fans overrate our players? 99% of them are lower Championship standard at best. Throw in a League One manager and that's why we're where we are.

Patently trolling nonsense. We've lost some good players since May 2021, but plenty of this squad were regulars in the team which reached the playoff final last season. Added to that, the likes of Downes, Piroe, Paterson are clearly better than 'lower Championship standard'.

The issue is clearly with the way the manager wants this team to play. Maybe it will take time like he says, or maybe it's just not going to work at this level or with these players.

I know things are bad, but sorry, just no. He had the spine of Fab, Fernández, Britts, Gylfi, Llorente. Throw in Olssen, J Ayew, Fer and there's a decent team there.

Players might one for one be better than the 2000+ teams but in terms of synergy they are miles behind.

and wayne routledge

According to WOL he's expecting a big turnaround in players to play the way he want's his team to play. So I'm excited at the prospect of signing Van Dijk, Jorginho, Rudiger Laporte et al...... Just off to renew my season ticket.

We're terrible particularly away from home that's granted, but I can't take seriously a thread which says a team that will not go down from the championship is worse than a league two team. If you reckon the team we had in league two or the team under Kenny Jacket would have beaten Bristol 3-1, beaten the team in second place in the Championship with 10 men for half the match or picked up a point away at QPR, you seriously want your head looking at, and I really mean that, you should arrange an appointment with your GP.

Such stupid talk takes away from any valid points you're making and makes you sound like some entitled fool who jumped on the bandwagon when Martinez came along. Get a grip.

Not by a long chalk.
When all is said and done they are a lower to middle Championship side.
They are inconsistent and frustrating and not good to watch.
However next August they will still be in The Championship.
A long way from the 4th tier days and our struggle to stay in the league or even the team that got promoted to the 3rd tier
