• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Would you be happy to lose 6-2 every game?

You simply cannot adapt the Leeds style in the Premier League - it will get them enough points this year but as they found out today there are days when teams will just rip you apart

But its better to play like that and lose 6-2 then try and shut up shop and lose 5-0 😂😂

I feel like supporters of other PL teams were saying that about our passing game in 2011 when we had 14 points from our opening 14 games...

Based on their second half struggles in the last couple of seasons, I could see them collapsing, but it feels like this is the inevitable backlash to all the praise Leeds and Bielsa have been getting.

I'd have loved it if he'd joined us in 2015. Maybe we would have got relegated sooner, but it would have been a hell of a lot more fun than it was under Guidolin, Bradley, Clement and Carvalhal.

I think this is complete and utter bollox myself.

To be fair I don't think he is suggesting he'd be happy losing 6-2 every game. Personally, I'd take the odd 6-2 hammering if it meant playing expansive, attractive football and having a go at teams. After all, we were on the end of similar when playing some of the most tedious stuff possible.

I think your last sentence puts it in perspective for me. At times during our last 2-3 seasons in the Prem, I resented the fact that I'd paid out decent money to watch such dross and sometimes even felt stupid that I'd wasted a whole day and driven hundreds of miles to do it. If it wasn't for the fact that I always got to see my brother and my nephew, I'm sure I wouldn't have bothered half as often as I did.

Whoa, hold on. They have 17 points from 14 games. WBA who have tried to eke out 0-0 and nick a goal are way behind as are Burnley, the kings of kick and clap. They don't lose 6-2 every week. Last week they beat Newcastle 5-2. So yeah, give me that over Clement/Bradley/Carvalhal any day of the week.
I'm not too concerned Monmouth

Our main worry is we are playing with make shift CB's as Koch & Llorente whom we paid £30m for the pair are both injured & now Liam Cooper has picked-up an injury v Manure. Koch could be missing for a while, Llorente is now back in training, he's hardly kicked a ball in anger since we signed him.

Our next two fixtures Burnley & WBA are crucial games we mustn't lose, those games won't be easy, I'd take 4 points now.

Still think we'll be ok as the six below us are poor, also Newcastle & Palace could be dragged into a relegation battle.
