• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Staying up and doing the double over both Bristol City and Cardiff as a good season ?

Well it depends what our fans expectations was this season and what direction we are heading.

Why should I care if we do the double over a Bristol team? I'm not even losing sleep over if we can beat Cardiff again.

At the moment it's abject. Only way to retain mild optimism for next season is if we start playing well again, like we were earlier in Martin's reign.

Well being serious I think we should be a few places up the table and if we’d won only two more games this season giving us an extra six points I don’t think so many would be kicking off.
Saying that the expectations of some are at this moment in time far too high,if this was the same time next season in exactly the same situation I’d be looking to get rid of Martin.
I’ve said from day one when people were saying they could see what he was doing I said I couldn’t and I still can’t but he stays for now.

I'd question the players desire to fight for us and the shirt at the moment.
If this lot can beat Cardiff up there I'd be mightily shocked.

A couple more heavy defeats between now and that date in April and we may have a new man in charge......which changes everything....,but I don't think owners care as Martin talks shit and bull shit baffles brains
