• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Does it annoy you Wrexham have no Welsh players and actively have that approach and will for many years to come?

Does it annoy you that Swansea is situated in Wales?

But yes Wrexham should contribute more to THE national team and theres no real excuse now with the time that has passed and investment they could have put in. The Swans have been doing all the heavy lifting on that front for a while now.

Fenerbahce covered Ayew’s wages the season we were relegated.

It was terrible terrible transfer dealings that stopped us from competing, not one players wages.
The legacy of Jenkins losing the plot post Laudrup

"Football finance guru Kieran Maguire has praised Wrexham's economic strength, indicating they are poised to be competitive in the Championship next season. Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: "Wrexham made three times as much as any other club in League Two, more than any other club in League One and they would be in the top half of the Championship,".

"Therefore they're not that far behind the Championship's big hitters – the likes of Stoke and Norwich. It's an incredible achievement in terms of bringing in money. It's also their ability to become an international brand which has really driven this."

"I was teaching in Charlotte, North Carolina last year and the only shirts I saw were those of Wrexham, which is an amazing achievement and that's on the back of the documentary."

Maguire also projected that Wrexham stand to gain an additional £8m in TV revenue from promotion to the second tier. "That would put them fairly close to all of the clubs except for those who will be in receipt of parachute payments in the Championship," he added."

Birmingham are said to be on a par with those clubs receiving parachute payments. Quite how they've managed that without the equivalent of Welcome to Wrexham driving things (they have an Amazon Prime doc series in the offing mind) is a mystery. If they can get these fantastic commercial deals why not us?
