• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Go on the Gogs, don’t fuck it up from here now.

I'll be the odd one out. I would of rather not seen them promoted. Debate will go on and if they get promoted to Premier league they will be seen as bigger club than Swansea. My pride can't take that 😂😂😂😂

Fair play to them, they play at a very high tempo and they don't let up. Every time I see them they're the same.

I've a feeling they will acquit themselves better than people might expect next year. The Championship is shite. If you fight, defend properly and stay in games (they do) then you can do alright in there. With that crowd behind them too, small ground, stands right near the pitch, won't be a nice place to go.

They'll need to be busy in the summer. That's the issue for me, the 'Hollywood' pull may be enough to pull some players.

Aye and they’re still one of the most active ‘firms’ out there now. They’ll bring all their old heads down here for sure.

They sang Hyms and Arias decades before we did. Theres a clip[ on youtube from the FA Cup tie vs Blyth Spartans in 1977. They are singing it then. I was most surprised.

Ah, Bootlegger 1974. I like him, but he’s a way bigger pisshead than me, and that’s saying something. 🤣

He has done alright out of this social media lark, multiple holidays in Tenerife, ( think he’s over there now), plus the Hollywood teeth. 🤪

Could do with a badge redesign: the German three feathers (just like the WRU)!
