• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Fantastic effort from my fellow Welshmen.

Done the country proud again.

Their dodgy defence let them down again. Felt their keeper was rooted to his line Fisher-esque for that equaliser from the corner.

Fkers are singing Hymns and Arias

Well I will be fkd. I was watching youtube vid of Wrexham vs Blyth Spartans after being inspired by some FA cup romance and the Wrexham fans were singing hymns and Arias in 1978! so we are singing their song

"Well I will be fkd". That's a service that Mr. Sumbler provides on a very selective basis. Don't get your hopes up.

Classic, they’re the underdogs in this game, playing no differently to any other underdog.

We’ve been the underdog in a few games in the past couple of seasons and we haven’t displayed anything like the desire and effort they’ve shown.

Great game, thoroughly enjoyable and a shame they didn’t win.

Maybe if the town didn’t evacuate every weekend to support Everton, Liverpool and Manure perhaps they’d have half a chance.

And I thought you just talked shite about us.

It's a city btw.

Quite a few on here jealous I suspect of the owners, the ambition and the trajectory.

We haven’t been like that for a while. This will be the year they go up I hope. Be great to see the old ‘4’ back in the league.

Awesome game...gutted they couldn't finally pull it off, but their defence showed the cracks expected in where they are....Mulling was brilliant..but I'll tell you where Wrexham hammered Sheff Utd hands down.....Sheffield Utd shirt sponsor revenue 2022...Randox Health...$619 million....; ...Wrexham shirt sponsors revenue 2022...Tik Tok...$11.04 Bn; Expedia $11.32 Bn; Vistaprint $2.89 Bn.....the power of Hollywood eh?

Not jealous at all, seen plenty of Fairy Tales at my own club, been around since 73 see, don’t like them, some of the biggest chips on their shoulders in football.

Talk shite maybe, one persons shite is another’s gold.
I’m well aware it’s had city status bestowed upon it but it’s a town simple as that.

Just a couple of years longer than me then. 1976/77 season for me.

I’ve seen all that you have though, and I’m still envious of that today. It’s been a while since we’ve had that sort of evening in the cup. I’ve never had anything other than a soft spot for Wrexham. Same as Newport. Only ones I’ve ever disliked are our neighbours. Some great nights against them in the Welsh Cup over the years.

That’s the argument Cardiff use against us…

I’ve been away to Wrexham several times to watch the Swans and their fans were always horrid to us,f*ck em.

And you know what I agree with them.
If Swansea had developed itself as a regional capital for West Wales instead of trying to be something its not then maybe the city centre wouldn’t be in the mess it currently is.
