• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Here’s another regular, just had a browse and seen that’s it’s down in price by a pound (to £6.50). I’ve got one lined up in the rack ready for tonight.

https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/278418150

Goes very well with doner kebab, Bryn

I've bought the lamb mince Cwps from the knock off bin in Tesco and its in the freezer cos we're having a Chinese or curry delivery this evening after we turn the Scots inside out. 🙄 Tesco only sell lamb mince with 20%fat though, whilst the recipe says to use 5%. Our butcher in the Bont shut down about 30 years ago. Got to go to Gorseinon now for a decent butcher.

I’ve never seen minced lamb with 5% fat so went with the only option which I had which was Tesco. Point to remember - x1.5 on the spice mix.

Now we've taken a detour....talk to me about Rosé......I think I've a poor knowledge on this "genre" of wine

I'm amazed you can still buy Mateus Rose in the same shaped bottles as in the 70's.

Those bottles used to be full of dust in my corner shop as a kid 🤣

Mrs, bless her, thought she'd buy the new 19 Crimes Coffee, tried it earlier, my god its disgusting.

We both love the Jammy Red Roo here, bloody lovely. Their Shiraz is nice to and their Pino Grigio, although McGuigan's Pino Grigio is nicer.

Loves an Argentine Malbec me, although I will qualify my snobbery by saying I have sipped on the real thing in Buenos Aires.
