Indeed, what a bloody cheek using supporters' email addresses to market MM's business interests.
We have emailed the Club to express our being pissed off at this marketing.

They’re in breach of UK GDPR doing that if you’ve opted out of third party spam like I have.
Emailed them today to tell them as such and expect a response

They could at least have got someone with better than primary school English grammar to write the emails too. 'Your invited' ffs, so amateurish.

What's happened here?

Club sent out a marketing email to a wedding event on behalf of Morgan’s Hotel to the mailing list (or at least some of it). Can’t speak for others but I’ve opted for no third party marketing - yet still received this guff. Unclear whether personal information has actually been shared outside of the club - I’m awaiting a response.

This is a clear breech of GDPR rules (the new Data Protection ruling).

GDPR was brought in specifically to stop companies flogging their spreadsheets of peoples personal data to the likes of Insurance Companies or in this case a hotel/wedding dress outlet!

No win no fee for data breech, nice little couple of grand there to be had.
