Help On The Way

There are several things happening at the moment. And everyone can get involved in one way shape or form. First off, there is a public meeting on Monday at 7.30pm at the Patti Pavilion. Present will be representatives from the PFA, Supporters Direct and also the Football League. All are welcome to attend no matter whether you belong to a supporters group or not.

Secondly, there is a demonstration planned for next Tuesday before the Brighton game. This will start at Castle Square at 6.30pm and head towards the Vetch. No announcement has been made yet as to whether there will be a boycott of the game but watch this space as they say.

Thirdly, there are moves to start taking this club back to the people that matter – the fans. We all know, or should know, of the trust – if you have a small amount to invest then these are the people to contact. They can take donations and all monies are used to secure the future of the football club.

However, there are a group of people working together of what we call ‘serious business people’ They have money in larger amounts to invest and are looking to form a consortium to try and get this club back. If you have an amount (and we would use ร‚ยฃ50,000 as a guideline) to invest then please e-mail me here and I will put you in touch with the right people.

These people will be meeting in the next day or so to discuss their plans and we will see how that develops.

Swansea City will not be allowed to die. It will survive this and we will come out of it stronger. The players are pledging their support to the club – let’s show them that we mean business and want to keep them
