Lewis Wants Cash

The club as you know have been looking at moving to the Morfa Stadium for quite some time. Nothing new to report there but a common way of doing business with the council concerning large planning applications is that the developing company pay for the costs of feasibility studies and the council reimburse the developers at a later date. All costs incurred, naturally, must have legitimate receipts etc.

Ninth Floor laid out around ร‚ยฃ200,000 for this study into the proposed move to the Morfa. This is where it gets good. Mike Lewis last week went to the council to ask for this ร‚ยฃ200,000 back. As you would expect, the council are not just going to say “cheque or cash Mike” and decided to check first to make sure this was right.

The council contacted Steve Hamer who by all accounts nearly had a fit when he heard what Lewis was up to. Then the council receive a telpehone call from Alan Wix, who we know as chairman of Ninth Floor, who stated in no uncertain terms that this money belongs to Ninth Floor and not Swansea City Football Club Ltd and even if it did what has it got to do with an unpaid adviser on the Morfa project?

This is another example of how it appears that our club is being fleeced by these people and another even better example of how the Jack Army knows what is going on.
