• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

So where is everybody off on holidays then?

7 days in a cottage at Rhosneigr for me and the missus + dogo in June.
Where's everyone off recharging the battery's before next seasons shenanigans...

Portugal in July. Looking for somewhere we can take the dog next time we have some time off though so suggestions welcome.
Lots of choice now with dog friendly cottages, North Wales is a personal favourite, Cornwall (St Austell) has the best dog friendly beaches too, bit like Portugal but about 25° cooler 😀

Shows I'm not Mr Current affairs, I did not think you could take the dogs on holiday, quarantine laws, or was that 20 years ago?

Enjoy!! Never been up there( just had to google it) :) But I went to Hafan Y Mor, a few year back, and it was one of the best holidays, I've ever had in the Uk, even the journey up there going past Snowdonia was brilliant, but the missis does never want to repeat it, she reckons the journey is to long.. For me it was great, and I would love to repeat it, only really manged to visit Caernarfon, and Criccieth and a couple of beaches to the West of Pwllheli..

I would like to spend a bit more time up that way, and go a bit further North again.

Driving to Benidorm in three weeks time. Do it twice a year, June for our Anniversary & October to celebrate our Birthdays ( Aug & Oct ). Drive through the Channel Tunnel, down through France, through the Pyrenees & down to Benidorm. Always give a nod to Pegojack as we pass through on the AP7 motorway.

I don’t mean abroad, when we go somewhere with the dog it’s in the U.K.
