If I were you, do a little bit of research on the ones you have, when you got some spare time. Started looking into selling some old vinyl a year or so back, and I don't think it's a simple as doing a quick comparison, as to what they sell for on say ebay.

Episode of The Apprentice last year Sir Alan sent the wanabees to Brighton to get a 45rpm of ABBAS Waterloo .

Way back in the day this was supposed to be the bees knees of vinly , they had done Eurovision years before .

Made for TV entertainment of course , some of the traders haggled over 75p / £1 for the value and profit for them .

Sad to say I did get rid of my old CDs and cassettes recently to the local skip , even Charity Shops are flooded with unwanted oldie stuff like my back catologue of classics .

Youngster today have no interest in vinyl so now all downloads of the latest groovy tunes online .

Dinosaur me but loved getting that stylus needle onto Track 1 , Side 1 and listen to the crackling noise through my massive padded ear protected JVC kit .

You may have chucked away a fortune there!

Or maybe not, who knows, but I will say something, from my very brief look into this, some old vinyl are worth a lot of money, it's a couple of year ago now, and I can't really remember, it was to do with codes/numbers on the old vinyl.

I've got a few, 50's, 60's and so on, Beatles and stuff, but a good few are missing the original sleeves.. plus the pièce de résistance, Hot Chocolate Album, Grease, and Saturday Night Fever..

HMV is getting more and more vinyl in stock every year, it now has quite a large selection. Can't see how it appeals to todays youngsters, having to get up off the settee to change tracks and turn it over to side 2. Quite sad to see physical copies of music being withdrawn from a lot of shops.

They were my dads who was 87 when he passed nearly two yrs ago, old classic tracks from Western's.

My old man had a copy of the Rawhide single stashed away somewhere. Frankie Laine didn’t have belt it out. Great song.
