• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

4-1 up at Luton, looking really good and playing nice attacking football.

It's like watching a different sport to the one we play

Watching some of their midfielders and then realising we have got Fulton, it's enough to make a grown man cry.
Yes. But Brownhill has never been prolific yet scores the odd goal with a darting run from midfield

Too good for this division

nowhere near good enough for the Premier League

The gulf between the two divisions appears to be bigger than ever

Reminds me of WBA 10 years ago, the textbook definition of a yoyo club

Brentford seem to have made a pretty good fist of the transition, and even Forest clung on. I think it is doable still, but increasingly less so. Even if you get there it's hardly great is it. The gulf between top and bottom in the PL is as great as PL to championship

Watching Burnley, maybe we should try playing with purpose and attacking intent, rather than poundshop Pep type bullshit?

It’s nice watching teams play with zip and movement.
Saw bits of a few games over the weekend, and that was a chat we had about how so many teams were playing with pace and more intent than us.
