• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

What’s peoples views on it? Apparently Cardiff and South Wales Police were happy to have it lifted, but Swansea weren’t which is why it still is. Not got a problem myself now whether it’s lifted or not as my lad is now older, but going by cardiffs reputation on picking on stragglers and scarfers, I think it’s wise to keep it that way. Plus, we also have our own d7ckheads too.

It would be carnage if it went back to the way it was years ago.

It will but why should the majority suffer?

I'm of the persuasion that the first time will be enough to bang up 90% of the mindless idiots, then the rest of us can crack on

First time it happens there will be total chaos, then on the back of it it'll be back to a bubble.
So what's the point ?

Suck it and see, if it goes reasonably well job done, if not back to the bubble, if SWP are happy to give it a go why not.

Lifting the bubble would attract the idiots from both sides at the expense of regular fans. Carnage but not necessarily near both grounds either

Someone will get killed if it's lifted. Bookmark this

They’ll be fine down here. We both have a mutual respect for each other. Plus we both hate Cardiff
There’ll be plenty of aggro if Wrexham come down here. They’ve got one of the most active hooligan element about at the moment.

Why would police want it changed? They'll be deployed everywhere/chasing god knows what. They got it cushty as things stand.
Will never happen.
