• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

This.

Williams is clearly now peripheral to key decision making :
- selection, in-game tactics, man-management/ team talks, subs

The timing and spin re WBA is impeccable for our new owners who clearly want/deserve better - the perfect storm for Willy
You are the worse type of fan.
We should be sitting here happy with 3 points with clear signs of improvement but you are just trying to put a dampener in it just for an agenda and the links to a former manager.

Grow up.

Just watxhed highlights

How on earth didn't we score from that Ronald cross/shot in first half? Darlings header in second half was a sitter too

But I am sitting here (not there) happy with another 3 points and clear signs of improvement from the total abandonment of Willy’s Wayward Ways.

We are now playing far more pragmatically, playing more to the strengths of our players, and playing to win. We’re not now playing to Williams’ self serving CV-embellishing bonkers agenda.

Edit- and I’m pretty sure the powers at be will be delighted with how the last week has panned out

MPH out of contract at the end of the season at Brentford. Doubt that will be renewed so potentially a freebie signing.

Interesting that Brentford. Portsmouth and us question is attitude and workrate.

Maybe something he should consider improving on

I wouldn't sign him, free or not. He's average at best. We need better than average.

It certainly won’t be a freebie. If a club isn’t paid, the player is. I’d be horrified if we bought him.

Same here. Thanks for the goal Myles, but not seen anything in him to suggest we should want to sign him permanently. In a dream world we'd bring in better than him next month.

The Sky highlight miss a lot of highlights. Ronald missed a back post header right at the end of the first half when it was harder to miss. Vip had what looked like a tap in after our second, but I think just let the defender get in front of him first. There were couple of shots that just went wide. There were at least double the number of decent chances Sky showed. It'll be interesting to see the extended highlights. Hopefully the Swans ones will also show the pen claims and the assault on Franco.

We weren't exactly battering their goal, but on another day 3 or 4 wouldn't have flattered us.

Ron needed to head it across for Bianchini. The angle was hard to score from. VIP hit the goalie I think, which is either unlucky or a bad miss depending on your view. Great early ball to him though; lovely to see. Sometimes we go back to Vig via 4 players from there…oh yes we do.
