• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Not at all, the point is moot because we did get past them, but was very poor and we just scraped it.
Don't think we were very poor, we had spells where we were lacks and scrappy but that was a difficult Luton team and we had absolute no protection from the ref.

That was an exellent 3 points given the circumstances and start(our own doing).

Sorry daps, I was commenting in real time, during the last 20 when I said we should be getting past a poor 10-man Luton - we did so it is irrelevant other than to say that for that period of dominance we had our quality was very poor.

Franco is irreplaceable in my view at the moment.

Hopefully won't keep him out of the Portsmouth game.

Out of interest, what is our ticket allocation for this?

On the box, it was pretty clear that the scummer won the ball but then flung his arm out behind him to catch Franco across the face as he spun round.
Franco was running the show, so I bet he knew exactly what he was doing. I’m surprised there was no yellow, but maybe it’s something that will be looked at retrospectively.

Franco though - fkn immense. What a signing he’s been. Best midfielder we’ve had in ages.

If his jaw was fractured he’d be in hospital having it wired up.

Hope you are right but three teeth shunted back and up looks like an alveolar fracture.
Make your mind up. You said it was his jaw a minute ago and now your on about his alveolar. Crikey, our fans ;)

(Looks painful. I hope he’s back soon, but does look like he’ll be needing a bit of dental work)

We look a lot better when we put a proper team out. Apart from a stupid gift, we’ve been good. Looking to play forward with more purpose than 90% of the games under Williams. Let’s hope Grimesy gives a good half time team talk…more of the same…and we hold off with the brain dead pre planned substitutions.

All in all, much more encouraging overall than it has been up to Boxing Day.
This.

Williams is clearly now peripheral to key decision making :
- selection, in-game tactics, man-management/ team talks, subs

The timing and spin re WBA is impeccable for our new owners who clearly want/deserve better - the perfect storm for Willy

Bet today hurts lad.
Nervdmjnd, a well overdue tug for you when we lose next

Alveolar is part of the jaw
