• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Hope I’m not reading in to it too much, but ran towards the south west corner with finger to his mouth as if to say “shush” to fans?

Hope he doesn’t think too much of himself after scoring a goal that the majority of players could’ve have if they were in the same position 😬

He probably looks at this site and reads the shit that's thrown in his direction on a regular basis...

I saw that and did wonder. On the other hand can’t imagine South West giving him too much stick. Not that he didn’t deserve it before then so maybe they did. In which case he needs to grow a pair or in modern talk have a sense of personal reflection.

Lets be fair here he was total gash until he scored that goal. Sat down at least three times appealing for a free kick that was never going to happen - despite the incompetence of the ref for the most of the game

A wasted loan for me
Gave the ball away very easily a few times that game, at this level, more than once is too many

Apparently someone in the West Stand gave him a severe tutting during the QPR game 😳

Do these self-praising-up-their-own-pipe-overpaid knobs really think that one goal excuses the fact that they have been a waste of skin for 99% of the time we’ve put them on the pitch, and paid them hundreds of thousands of pounds for being mostly gash at their jobs?

Yeah they do don’t they?

What’s that, his third winning goal for us?
I remember the Sheffield one…

Second goal isn’t it, both from 3 yards open net, and one excellent assist. Suppose if the people that hold the purse strings think it’s worth it for the rest of his ‘contribution’, that’s fine. I’d be sending him back to Hounslow and looking for better value.

You are spot on

I thought it was more of the Rashford thing, meant to indicate mental health and confidence I believe?

2 goals and 3 assists so far. I wouldn't sign him based on this half a season but could change my mind after the second half.
Very inconsistent but I'm quietly convinced that he's got the tools and there's a player in there somewhere. The right coaching and a better attitude might be the answer.
