MP-H goal celebration

I remember the Sheffield one…

Second goal isn’t it, both from 3 yards open net, and one excellent assist. Suppose if the people that hold the purse strings think it’s worth it for the rest of his ‘contribution’, that’s fine. I’d be sending him back to Hounslow and looking for better value.
Second you are correct, other one was against Watford. Few assists as well.

Please note this is not me blowing smoke up his hoop or saying we should sign him. His contribution is not to be sniffed at either.

2 goals and 3 assists so far. I wouldn't sign him based on this half a season but could change my mind after the second half.
Very inconsistent but I'm quietly convinced that he's got the tools and there's a player in there somewhere. The right coaching and a better attitude might be the answer.
To be fair to him, he's also being played out of position. He's absolutely not a winger. He maybe more suited as a number 10, but Cullen has that position nailed down currently.

Properly baffled by the hate on here for him. He's fine. Not every player that comes in on loan is going to be a cut above the rest of the squad, and MPH is a pretty solid squad player that offers  something off the bench, even if he's inconsistent.

He wss in great form from the end of October into November, those Oxford and Stoke games, he was one of the best players on the pitch.

Some people on here are outrageously vitriolic to him for completely unknown reasons.

What’s that, his third winning goal for us?
He's a strange one. He can look rubbish compared to Eom at times, yet has had more end product than Eom. I'd like to see hm centrally to see what he can do there, as he is prepared to drive at the goal and can beat a man, which is something our number 10s at the club struggle with. Big and normally quite strong too.

I guess he's just work in progress still. I've just seen the celebration on the highlights -it is an odd one.

Not sure where or why Eom got into the discussion on this but we need better than both IMO

He probably looks at this site and reads the shit that's thrown in his direction on a regular basis...
I hope he does, and I hope some of the other flaky twats that make up most of our current squad read what's said on here and all. It might actually encourage them to pull their finger out.

Fans have got much thicker skins than players - I hope he keeps scoring and keeps shushing us tbh. Crack on.

Offers far more to the collective effort than most here appreciate.
Part of the groundswell of momentum and feel-good factor currently surging its way through SA1.
Another one of the good ‘uns, along with Flo, Eom, Franco.: there’s something special brewing…..

In stark contrast to the bad apples like Abdulai

Lets be fair here he was total gash until he scored that goal. Sat down at least three times appealing for a free kick that was never going to happen - despite the incompetence of the ref for the most of the game

A wasted loan for me
I'm sure his ego can take him back to Brentford for his next loan.He needs to increase a lot of his game before he can be classed as a championship player.

But we also have people who both tell us that stats don't matter and that stats mean everything!

MPH is the perfect example of this, his goal involvements per minute on the pitch is actually relatively impressive, but outside of that for a big man with a lot of pace he rarely uses that height or speed to any real advantage it seems.
