• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

While not personally a fan of American football, I recognize its appeal, particularly the impressive fan support at some college games.
The pre game BBQ’s are quite something. Think of a stadium car park ten times bigger than the .com, each car brings a BBQ and a wallpapering table, and lays on a spread for the casual walk up fan.

In fairness they have got that side of things spot on 🙌

I dislike both teams, I'll be fast asleep by the time the anthem is sung.

Definitely one of those games you want both to lose. In terms of Swans/football comparisons, maybe imagine Man Utd in their prime under Fergie when everyone was sick to the back teeth of them winning all the time, playing West Ham or Millwall or some rough and tumble team with awful fans that nobody likes. Either the smug media darlings win again or the worst fanbase in football gets to lord it up.

I'll watch it though and root for the lesser of two evils (Eagles) for the hell of it. Not trying to get too caught up in it all despite my appreciation for the sport. I've enough stress and angst following the Swans, so I'll try and watch it reminding myself it doesn't really matter to me who wins.

I'm here, only watched 2 games this season, but you can't miss this, it's like the world cup.. uppa America, upper Trump.. land of the free and all that

Eagles got help from the ref and score.. typical, I'd be fuming if I was a Chiefs fan
