• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Hope we get a decent home crowd for this.

There's been a good spell of results and entertainment and Oxford bringing 2.7k of inflatable bananas and Mr men lookalikes should create a decent atmosphere.

Possibly the last game for a few of our squad.

Maybe Oxoman can sign up to the forum ahead of the game and give us a run down of Oxford’s glorious football history to help set the mood.

Now Cardiff are relegated, what's everybody looking out for on the final day?

Primarily I'd like to see us win and WBA draw or lose so we finish 10th.

I'd quite like to see Millwall, Blackburn or Boro pip Coventry to the final playoff spot.

I'd like to see Burnley beat Leeds to the title because we've got our Piroe money and fuck Leeds.

Would be hilarious (if unlikely) to see Stoke get relegated.

Hull or Preston to drop

Bristol City or Millwall to win the playoffs

Sounds like a mighty fine day. Sign me up.

I'd quite like to see Coventry miss out on the playoffs just because of the frankly bizarre way that their fans went about acting the Billy Big Balls over the signing of Grimes. Talk about trying to manufacture a rivalry.

With you on wanting Coventry to miss out.

They are a cocky bunch at best of times especially over the last couple of seasons.....Grimes situation just put a cherry on top for me.

They are a great example of a team whose fans you would expect to be more humble. An early Premier League fixture, then years in the Championship and League 1, stadium and ownership nightmares, etc.

Their board promised them prem footy next season selling tickets based on promotion success. Robins was binned when the dream went south.

Their fans will protest if they fail to go up.

All I’m interested in next weekend is for us to finish on a high. Really don’t care who goes down with the rats or who goes through the playoffs. I have to say that 6 weeks ago, I hadn’t anticipated such an enjoyable end to what’s been a pretty uninspiring season.

Get the manager sorted, player contracts, retained list…. And then settle back to watch the summer transfer rumours and hopefully look forward to a more consistent and positive 25/26 season.
