Sky Sports News understands the representatives of QPR Head Coach Marti Cifuentes have held talks this week with another Championship club over becoming their boss next season

Is it me or does this fella seem extremely overrated?
They had a good go at us in the 2nd half when we won there 2-1

They did, but before the season started he was on one of them top 5 managers in the league shit, I’ve seen nothing from them considering they spent abit as well in the summer that considers him a great manager, at least we have Super Alan Sheehan.

It might be a safe pair of socks in relation to Sheehan and I for one was looking for a new pair recently and wasn't convinced. This might sound boring, but with all the turmoil this season has had - I'll take this safe pair of socks with Sheehan. Lets see where he takes us and if it doesn't work then it doesn't work. Let's face it, it won't end up as bad as Williams on and off the pitch. Push to the stars at the right moment. Cardiff is a good example of how they lived on the edge and didn't have the right people in charge. We really need to be counting our bleasings that Sheehan knew the club and stood up as we could of easility spiraled. My point being, known of us kmow if experience or not will get us, but I'll take Sheehan and what he has done over an unknown at present. This will work in our favour as well with pre season and start.

That’s what I think too. A few little doubts have crept into my head regarding timing of substitutions. In the last game for example I reckon Ronald should have been subbed at HT. He was having an awful game. Fulton is imo a pale Nr 6. Breaks up play by fouling which more often than not puts us in danger. Seldom puts a decent tackle in when it’s needed. Vip should have started. Cullen isn’t a Nr 9. Great pass he made though. Should be played as a false 9 alongside Vip. Get the partnership going.

Mildly unrelated but Southampton have been linked with Eric Ramsay after he had been linked with us a month ago

Would be interesting to see if they manage to keep as much of their team as they did when they came down two years ago

Can see a lot of them leaving tbh, they’ll have Edward’s and Wood as their CB pairing next season, they might keep hold of Downes though.

I remember reading that they were holding out for like £100m for a winger of theirs
A winger who racked up a staggering 1 goal and 2 assists
The only thing going for him is that he is English and like 19 years old

But £100m? Fuck my soul they are insane and so is anyone who would pay that
If someone did though that one sale would mean they could keep pretty much the entire squad together barring those who have relegation release clauses and want out

100% believe Sheehan should get the job. He has gone way beyond his remit of just surviving relegation. Results would put us challenging top 2 spots next season. Maybe the good results are influencing me ie will they keep coming over a season

Whilst I like the hard running, hard tackling, high energy, high press I find myself watching games and thinking we are just a workmanlike team/performance. Cant put my finger on it. Sheff Utd and others have gone up before without producing any inspiring football so lets have the announcement and get on with the transfer window.

I also think Sheehan will end up managing in the Premiere and other top leagues around Europe

Sheehan's biggest strength is that he is fantastic at analyzing the opposition and setting up his side to counter their strengths. Occasionally he gets it wrong (Derby and Millwall) but he is a rookie coach so you can hardly use that as a stick to beat him with.

Occasionally we get to see champagne football when the circumstances allow it, and a team on a good run of form will face different pressures to teams who are struggling at the bottom. Hopefully he is backed by the club and our summer recruitment is a good one

Forgot his handle but liked what he said about a convo with Sheehan on the beach. That Sheehan believes O'Brien will be with us next season. If so and we dont sell Franco that would be huge.

Pop Low and Kyprianou in and CB's will be sorted even if Darling leaves. So to me despite some saying many many holes in the squad I would be happy spending most on that approach.

Widdell is a winger/10 so he could improve the up front bit. Think Bianchini has a lot more in him if given the chance.
