I was listening to Radio 2 in the car earlier and it interested me the way they announced the winners of the London Marathon.
First they announced the winner of the ‘mens’ race and then they announce the winner of the ‘women only’ race.

Women's marathon running has two categories. There's a Women's only world record which was broken today and another category in which women can be paced by men. The latter, unsurprisingly, has a quicker world record.
That's why they called it the "women only" race today.
What all that has to do with this thread beats me.
