• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Strange it says he’s leaving the Swans and nothing retirement wise? He’s continuing playing ?

Does that suggest that the offers we made to him (and presumably Allen) were a large reduction on their current wages? Sad as it will be to see them go, that would indicate sensible decisions are being made around finances now.

Ruthless from the new decision-makers (at least on Naughts, we imagine), but both correct decisions. Kyle and Joe will both go down as two of the great modern Swans players, but their time has come, and we can't afford to keep spending on aging players. Best of luck to him!

Nice to see that he'll end on a satisfyingly round 300 league appearances assuming he plays tomorrow

Not surprising, the quality of pass is still there with the both of them, but they just can't run anymore, Joe especially was blowing out of his a*se at HT most weeks

Wasn't always the most popular of players was KN. Endured more than his fair share of scapegoating during our last few seasons in the Prem, but always someone I rated. Glad to see the appreciation for him now.

Rarely less than a 7/10 performance whenever he pulled on the shirt. Nothing flashy, rarely big heroics, just a dependable presence game after game.

Not going to be easy to replace.

He’s come so far since the PL days where he often looked lost on the pitch.

I think his level was always upper Championship football, and what a job he has done for us since we entered this league.
