• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

He will be close to 29 by the time the transfer window gets into full flow. This will considerably shorten the list of potential buyers as he doesn’t fit the model of buy > develop > sell.
He's surely been worth 2 million to them with his goals keeping them in the division. Experienced players can be worth their weight in gold. Surely it doesn't have to be that every signing a club makes they have to potentially have a reasle value on them, otherwise clubs wouldn't sign anyone over the age of 24 .

Cardiff would. And pay them 50k a week. Sorry, repetitive, but makes me smile.

Don’t get me wrong, I would just love it (in a Kevin Keegan voice) if they blew £2m on him.

On the flip side I would be disappointed if we did it.

1-2 million for a striker who keeps you in the Championship one would argue would be money well spent. Our prize money alone for finishing 11th in the league was I think 1.5m

Will be interesting to see what the summer holds for Kuharevych

He never had an opportunity under Williams and not sure he will get one under Sheehan
I do think he would do a better job than Cullen as a lone striker option though
I think he'd be the better one to keep if we can only get rid of him or Yates.
Would think he would make a good sub to Culls and vice versa.

Bianchini is not a striker.

I agree on that, just because Bianchini can play up top does not mean he is a striker, especially in a lone striker system like ours. He is a winger by trade and needs to be treated and trained like a winger

Bianchini doesn't seem to be anything under Sheehan.
