• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Clearly decided not to make the mistake that Duff made here. Give the nodding heads what they want to hear and buy himself more time if it doesn't start well this season.

He won't play down the importance of the Derby like Duff did.

Of course, it doesn't help him that there isn't a Derby because they're in freefall.

Nailed on they will be drawn against us in the cup if they actually make it past the first two rounds

I was hopin
Well he certainly ticks the delusion box.

You'd think he'd want to take pressure off and play down the whole 'big club' thing, get their heads down and work towards promotion this season.

Reality will soon hit them when they're finishing 12th in League One.
22nd you mean

Haha, that would be nice. I think back-to-back relegations will be fairly unlikely, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they're a mediocre 10th-15th. They're underestimating that league and overestimating their squad. Who'd have thought it, eh?

Perhaps they could do a Wrexham in reverse and get back to back to back relegations. (y)

My prediction for Welsh Derby games back at the end of february when Wrexham were typically 3rd and Cardiff were not in the bottom 3 was, and, I am standing by it.

25/26 Swansea v Wrexham
27/28 Cardiff v Newport
28/29 Cardiff v Merthyr

Wrexham going up or down?

Wondered how long that question would take. You won a bag of jelly babies.

Us up but more likely them down which means Cardiff go down next season too so they play Newport.

Within a couple of years Huw will have Newport promoted and Merthyr will have continued their climb to play Cardiff

Is it bad I didn't even consider us moving up? :ROFLMAO:
