I get Tjoe a On and Pedersen didn't play much so replacing them isn't as much as a concern.

I think we need people at 25/26yr old capable of pushing people in the starting 11 or alternatively younger players who have the potential to push on and can be used as bench players in the meantime.

That site can be hit or miss and very much doubt they’ll be asking for 8m. If that’s true though, it’s crazy, it either prices him out of a move or guarantees that he’ll end up at a parachute team/Birmingham. Good player but I’d have doubts about signing him for half that, never mind 8m.

I mentioned it on the other post. I think he should move on but with his partner working on s4c and working at Tinopolis in Llanelli, it would be hell of a move. Basically she would be giving up her job for his. Just can't see it happen. Shocked if it happens.

I would move on Cooper and Fulton, and get replacements with a loan and a permanent.

I was never up for bringing him back if it would cost us stupid money. I like him but there’s a lot of players that can offer the energy he brings. Widell, while not as experienced obviously, could be a good solution to O’Brien leaving. It’s definitely move on for me.

Just not worth it. Money banded about is nuts. Agree it will be difficult to find experience, but let's hope we discover a asset, an unknown maybe?

Plenty have had to do it over the years at various clubs.

8 million for O'Brien would be absurd.

The club quite rightly should walk away, that kind of money would not only be pretty much our entire transfer budget not just for this window but also any possible reinforcements in the January window as well.

That amount would be enough to bring in two or three permanent transfers and cover a loan fee with change to spare.
