• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I said anxiety not mental health.

And that’s not to say anxiety isn’t an issue. But surely if you look at this in the round a massive spike since Covid just doesn’t seem quite right.

I’ll leave it be though if people are offended. That was never my intention. I just think there’s a massive danger of moving from one extreme to other on this issue. There are many young people who do need to be encouraged to get into work and be productive. That’s good for them and good for society.
I've suffered with anxiety for years waking up in full sweats mind spinning around with various things, it's not nice those who deride anxiety have obviously never experienced it, I wish I haven't and of course its associated with mental health, even my own Doctor told me that,

Try being awake most of the night with it and then having to do a days graft of physical work.

Sorry to hear that Max, I’m in the same boat myself, I get it in the day and also the night. A simple problem blows out of all proportion. If it happens in the daytime, I go for a walk, but in the night, hmm just stuck there. It’s an absolute awful feeling.

Night mostly sometimes in the day in the past, but not for a while, to be honest not had much of it for a good while thankfully

Doctor Sarno wrote about all this decades ago. Bloody amazing. I'd been wracked with back pain for years and it bloody vanished as I was reading.

Ashwagandha is good if you're suffering with anxiety issues etc, take it an hour or so before bed its helped me, British supplements I've used, I've run out now though, I take Magnesium & Glycinate now instead
