BBC reports liklihood of Tom Curry in the backrow and not even a place on the bench for Jack Morgan. What a sh1tshow. I was going to watch it but, if true, Farrell can go and fukc himself.
We knew this tour would turnout to be an Irish and England show with one or two Jocks.I just don't see any point in the tour let alone the match. Ireland, England or Scotland would easily beat this Oz rabble. They could at least find a place for the only token Welshman that deserves to be anywhere near the squad and has proved, on merit, better or at least the equal of the rest.
That’s why I’d love to see them lose. I detest Irish rugby and I detest English rugby (although I hope our two professional teams that remain alive will play in the English League…if they are still in the URC, Welsh rugby is dead). I’m not fond of Scottish rugby neither. We knew this tour would turnout to be an Irish and England show with one or two Jocks.
I don't agree with those having been selected for the Lions, its the British and Irish Lions and should be those born on these shores, fair enough that they've qualified under residency rule to play [Japan have done it for years] for the Country whose clubs they have joined, but not the Lions. Edit even less so when the Scots are mostly South African, and the Irish are often Kiwis.
Do you think that omission from the 23 is the right call?We werent complaining when Gatland picked the Wales team for the 3rd test last time in Oz. Suck it up.
Nods head in agreement.Farrell can go and fukc himself.
Its doesnt matter what I think. Farrell will judged by the result. The whole of Ireland was insensed when O'Driscoll was left out last time in Oz. It was only when the Lions pummelled them that Gatland was vindicated. You cant help but think this is in some small way related to that.Do you think that omission from the 23 is the right call?
Wales were on red hot form last time the Lions went to Oz, and O’Driscoll was in the twilight of his career. AWJ was also available to play and fill the role of captain. Dropping Morgan from the 23 and starting Curry isn’t comparable. It seems an odd decision and yes, maybe fuelled in part by 2013.Its doesnt matter what I think. Farrell will judged by the result. Gatland’s picks were all defendable on form, and it’s not as if he excluded all Irish. This is just barking and provocative. The Lions should crush this Oz team irrespective of personnel. I suppose this is how the Scots must have felt sometimes. On the plus side, at least he can’t get injured.Wales were on red hot form last time the Lions went to Oz, and O’Driscoll was in the twilight of his career. Agree with all of that, but it doesn’t help me easily swallow the fact that we don’t have a Welshman in a Lions shirt for the first time since 1896.Gatland’s picks were all defendable on form, and it’s not as if he excluded all Irish.
