I honestly don't know what goes through some peoples minds on the road. So I'm in the green lane ready to join the M4, with another car in the yellow lane to the side of me, ready to also join the M4. I notice a car, ready to go around to the A465, getting rather close to the rear of my car, his front bumper was probably a foot or two overlapping with my rear bumper, all of a sudden, he brakes sharply after realising that he can't in fact join the M4 and had to go down the A465.

As I'm joining the M4, I see them (I thought) sheepishly hanging back, realising that they'd fucked up, when all of a sudden, they put their foot down (and achieved what power they could in their shitty Astra), pulled alongside me, holding their horn down. Warra bellend, I thought. They then accelerate and do an emergency stop infront of me (on the M4 now), putting me onto the hard shoulder. They then turned off at the Llansamlet turning, got into the right lane with the left hand indicator on...says it all. In my shock and anger I didn't get the number plate (their word against mine at the end of the day)...but it made me think two things:
Why aren't dashcams now compulsory, installed on all new cars.
And...
What the f**k goes through peoples minds? I mean, they were in the wrong lane FFS...but why put someone on the hard shoulder, even if I was in the wrong?
