• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

RIP Hulk Hogan

2 childhood heroes dying in a short space of time 🙁 RIP BRUVVAA

Damn. WCW Nitro on TCM in the late 90s. I'd wait all week for those 3 hours on Friday nights

Tributes will be mixed on this one

Yeah unfortunately didn’t help himself past few years, but nonetheless from his time in the ring nothing but great memories, them nitro days topped his wwe period imo.

A divisive character. Carried two wrestling companies on his back, very nearly killed them both as well.

Just heard shocked tbh.
Anyone remember him in the tv series Thunder in Paradise.
RIP

Obviously a troubled individual. Anyone that supports that Orange knobber can do one in my book..

Indeed…and the ‘highlights’ they’d have on Channel 5 on a Friday evening. I never really had Sky back then, so I was more into WCW than WWF.

Hulk, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Randy Savage, Sid Vicious, the Steiner brothers, Benoit, Goldberg, Booker T, DDP…the list goes on. Obviously a lot of them spent time in WWF at some point, but there was a no-frills charm to WCW. Those were the days!

Peak WCW was great. It was just a very short peak.
