Having been on that board, I think Vital was more saying we should just move on due to the big money clubs involved, also doesn’t sound like he is in favour of the 4.5m price tag with only a year left.

I don’t think it means the deal is 100% off but that Vital just thinks it would be worth moving on.

It is quite a big gamble to be honest, Kone has only had two seasons in the professional game and 4.5m is a lot for a player going into his final year.

Considering the amount of clubs involved I trust the professionals to see something that we don’t in paying that money for someone with little experience.

Fans stopped going because of the Manager/s, sorry but that's not a real fan and an excuse.....sounds more like a petulant child not getting what they want than a real fan.
I'm sorry but it's nonsense, I understand fans not being happy with a manager and/or how the team is performing etc but walking away from your club because of that is just ridiculous. I understand the expense side also before that is brought out.

Honestly no idea why people get so het up about potential transfers or take any heed of the avalanche of unutterable bollocks “written” by “ITK” fan sites and/or twitter accounts. Each to their own and all that but even back when I was a regular I used to mostly switch off during the summer amd see who we had on the pitch come the middle of August.

I don't mind the transfer speculation, but I do get a bit annoyed when the thread moves loads of pages. So you get excited about a potential transfer, only to find it is two people arguing about something completely off topic. You are probably right that it is a bit silly to get annoyed by it though.

I think the club needs to get a bit of activity through the door soon for a few reasons.
Squad is looking short on numbers.
We are weak in depth in certain departments.
Some fans are getting a little concerned regards the above.
Early promise in the transfer window is going out the window.

No need to worry about Bianchini we have cover out wide and to a certain extent we can alternate Franco and Fulton for the defensive central midfielder, but a c/back, a versatile defender to cover centre and f/backs, but more importantly we need that special commodity - a consistent goalscorer.
