Louis Rees-Zammit

Linemen have been the most successful right? Unless I'm just thinking of Mailata with the Eagles who's gone on to be one of the best in the sport. It would make sense for a rugby player used to scrummaging to be able to adapt to playing on the offensive or defensive line.
Correct. NFL has a history of converting supreme athrletes. Basketball players to TEs.(Antonio Gates, Tony Gonzales) Olympic sprinters to WRs( Willie Gault) The fact is Louis was not fast enough, or strong enough or anything enough to find an "in". Alot of these kids are elite athletes AND they have been learning the game since 7 yrds old.

So he fooked off in a hurry and left the national side in the shit, and we are supposed to be pleased he's coming back to rugby union?

He's only coming back because he failed in NFL. Fook him.

Don't think Wales are in a position to tell anyone who is eligible to play for them and half decent at rugby to fuck off.

Also he wanted to give it a shot, and he got the opportunity, so why wouldn't you? He always knew his capabilities in rugby. He'll have no 'what if's' now, so good on him.
He gave it more of a try than Max Boyce.
Well done to him and let's get him race fit asap. Maybe he was seen as a judas at the time but so many people will forget once his presence on the pitch improves the win ratio :)
Who is he going to play for though?

England?

😆

You are too easily pleased
Maybe, or maybe you're talking shit. Who knows?

I do know that the logic of 'fuck him because he went to the NFL' is reductive. Do you think the Swans should have said 'fuck Leon Britton' because he went to Sheffield United and not re-signed him?

There are some miserable b*ggers on here, aye. I would never knock a young man for trying to improve his life prospects by moving outside his comfort zone. So it didn't work out, so what? As long as he hasn't lost any of his rugby ability, he will be a massive boost for Wales, and by God do we need it.

...and what's wrong with being a miserable bastard every now and then?!
