The Enigma of Ben Cabango: A Pre-Season Absence Shrouded in Mystery

anyone else heard whispers of a transfer request?
First I've heard of it. I think it's just an injury. I'll put my neck out and say that. Would be weird if he wanted to go as he is club captain and can see what the club is achieving. His recent interview showed no signs of someone wanting to go.

Don't take this the wrong way but what exactly are we achieving?
Everything off the pitch, commercially and what the club is showing more ambition. Worth watching the interview. He brings up these subjects and how it's impacted positively on the team... Now we haven't seen that, 😂 but he doesn't look or sound like a person who wants to move on.

No argument there. Just stating what and how he felt. And I can't see him going personally.

Has Sheehan avoided questions on Ben though?

Ben is a leader and a warrior," said Sheehan. "We want to get him back safely, that's the most important thing.
"There's no point risking him, we'd have to make sure that he gets some training and it might be tight for next weekend.
"Ben is the captain of the football club and it will be his decision on how he feels. If it's one game, two games or three games, we trust him to make that decision."
