• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

According to this article a series documentary like Wrexhams is in the pipeline…

I just saw this. This would be fantastic for the club. Yes it's a media circus, and it's gonna go with the Wrexham narrative, but who cares. If it brings revenue and more eyes then no issues here.

There's always those who like to swim against the tide. Pitch it right and we could offer an alternative for those who aren't buying into the Wrexham hype for whatever reason. Their money is as good as ours

I enjoyed the recent Birmingham one, even though Brady comes across as abit of a tool, you can’t fault his passion and his ethic to win.

Also seems Snoop and Brady are pals

He's a tool in general

You only have to watch the Welsh news on BBC Wales tonight and they are creating this narrative of Swansea vs Wrexham. Wrexham are the new shiny toy that the EFL wants to create a story of a Derby with us.

Look, it's not a Derby and we are a bigger club. But let them do their circus. Imagine Snoop will be at home game against Wrexham.

It generates buzz and if I don't like it, I'll turn my head and concentrate on the pitch. 😂

From a Jack to a King and back again?

It's a little bit "bandwagon" for me. I think there are ways to use the links to generate income that don't necessarily require just copying the Wrexham model (loved the idea of a Swans/Snoop beer tie in) but it can't hurt much in the short term.

Let’s hope they’re better at documentaries than running a football club lol! It’s not for me, but each to their own.

Financially, it should be good.

For us fans though, my god this will be cringeworthy to watch.

Could you imagine the jealousy down the road if this rivalry between us and Wrexham really takes off and they are stuck mid table and Tan is still hanging on to the club.

It seems the way to go, celebrities in with a football team and a TV camera.
Not a fan of it myself, certainly quite cautious of the scenario at Swansea but it's the modern thing and probably just a sign of me getting old.

Totally.
But funny how he (Brady) as being new to football was able to see what the owners of Derby, Birmingham & later, Plymouth couldn't.
Seeing it more from the outside and not being one of the people who appointed Rooney.
These people who make the calls tend to stick by their call in hope they get it right. Brady is a big personality so when he talks then even these people have to pay attention.
