• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Miles off it again

Got to start wales now until striker sorted

I agree on that.
He offered more in 25 mins than Cullen and Vipotnik did over two games

I was pleasantly surprised and he took the chance that fell at his feet very well, while showing some real skill at winning headers and flicking the ball on. Got to add the caveat that he was playing against a tired League 2 defence of course. Hopefully people don't start thinking he's going to be our saviour based on tonight.

As usual Vipotnik didn't get a single touch in the opposition penalty area. He was inches from tapping in Ronald's cross in the first half, but had to drop back into our half of the pitch to get a touch. The ball to release Ronald from their corner in the second half was a thing of beauty.

I'm not sure he's good enough at this level, but would like to see him get a run of games to give him a fair chance.

Agreed, through Cooper/Martin/Williams i'm tired of "tame" selections. With the current striker situation, if now is not the time for a brave selection then when will be?
