If it’s a well known fact that females have much smaller brains than males how come girls are coming out on top in A Level results?

Surely the stats must be wrong?

It was results day in our house. Stressful for everyone involved and I don't remember it being like it thirty years ago, neither for me or my parents.

No there wasn’t, there is a lot of pressure on the kids these days, as if it it’s the end of the world, If results don’t work out, so what. You go again.

That’s what we kept saying. I’m not sure it helped much, but we at least felt that we were saying the right thing. Her hard work paid off in the end, there is rarely a substitute for it.

Glad it all worked out, great news. But yeah there’s a lot of bloody pressure on kids these days,.

And as Clarkson lightly touches upon by there, when I was in school, there were many kids in my year who were put in the lower bands, at the time being a 14 year old, you just think ah well they won’t do well. Honestly, they have all done well,

She’s got a great start now.
