Well, we were interested enough to offer several million for him, possibly twice. Does that count?
Indy says (a) we didn’t offer several million for him, not even close, and (b) we only went in with one offer. So on the whole I’d say no, it doesn’t.

fair enough :)
It’s all confirmation bias, of course. I like what Keith et al are saying about how well our club is being managed so I prefer to believe it is true. Others think Alan Nixon et al are on the mark when they describe the club scrambling for players and throwing stupid bids around like confetti.
We could drill down a layer and discuss who has proved to be right on the most occasions and therefore has the better sources, what their motivations might be etc etc, but really I suspect that wouldn’t change a lot.

Wonder how our midfield will hold up against the Birmingham Watford and Millwall's of the league?.. no doubt we will have the skill and speed but we now have a team of midfield midgets 😁
I just found this from one of our fans on Reddit :-

Newton's Second Law of Motion states that the acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely proportional to its mass.

Hear me out...

Looking at highlight reels of Yalcouye his acceleration off the mark is phenomenal. This is in no doubt partly down to his athleticism, but the laws of nature play a part, specifically Newton's second law. Basically inertia is lower for lighter objects, meaning that light players such as Yalcouye, Galbraith and Franco all have a big advantage over bigger, heavier players simply through the laws of nature, and are able to accelerate from a standing start quicker than heavier players.

When it comes to closing down the opposition next season we should have a significant edge over all comers, which should more than compensate for our height disadvantage.

Daps are you insane or just not a big a fan as the rest of us? He’s an attacking midfielder full stop.

Seems you might be the insane one DD.

When he was asked about outgoings the other day, Sheehan basically said that we’ve already lost a lot of players. Doesn’t sound like we’re going to lose anyone. Although I’d like to see some of the younger players get loans.
