• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

It will take a feat to beat the likes of Leon and Joe in Midfield, but with the rumour of another midfielder coming in today is this the best recruitment we have done with Midfielders in many years?

Who knows? We haven’t seen them play a game in anger together yet. Best midfield in the division 🤮. Cardiff talk.

This is my feeling also. We have a lot of fans who go into hype overdrive when we sign a player, decide he's shit after he's played 5 games for us, then rinse and repeat with the next guy...

Agree with Monmouth. Let's not get all Cardiffy about it. Give it time, let's see.

But it's great to see the club revamping the engine room of our team. It's correctly been identified as a problem and they've really pushed the boat out to address it. I really hope it works.

Looks decent on paper but I reserve judgement until they have a good run of games.

Stamenic seems like the defensive wall who will break up the game and make us more stealy.

Galbraith looks a very good footballer.

Franco is the dog with plenty of energy.

Widell looks energetic and might bring goals once settled.

Malick looks all energy and a little terrer aswell.

What I feel we miss, a player with a bit of drive who can get hold of the ball and get the defenders back tracking.......someone like a David Penney(my area).

6 midfielders? What formation you playing Daps? Two more weeks before you can put your aerial down.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we sell Franco. We might cash in on last season hype if we can. 4 midfielders is enough if we can’t get shot of Fulton and Cooper, plus EOM and Cully can slot in there.

Wouldn't be surprised if Franco went, I would be ok with it aswell with the players we now have and we got a good fee for him.
I think Fulton and/or Cooper might be moving on.

Cooper will go. Fulton is gonna have little if no game time. Franco is odd one for me. Fan favourite, has a bite about him but hasn't really gone to next level. It's mad to think that this is even a discussion. If this was January earlier in the year then we would be struggling to think of options. I would keep Franco though. I do like him. Makes little to no sense to move him on when you have Fulton and Cooper behind him.

Steely. (Just saying)
