VIP showed what holding the ball up and being strong does to the dynamics of the team today.
WWe started looking more threatening when he came on and allowed the wingers to get the ball whilst facing Watford goal.
We don't play a 10 but Cullen can certainly play that midfield 2 role as he has done for Wales.

If it's a choice between him and Cullen to lead the line then it's him every time.
If he did that on a regular basis then absolutely but he hasn't.
I want him to succeed so if the recent events have given him a kick up the arse & he contributes more then happy to see him first choice.

Cullen offers very little, said it before but if he wasn’t a Swansea boy then we would have all been calling for him to be shipped out years ago. Same with Cooper, sooner they are both gone or away from the first team, the better

Cullen is a decent player if played correctly and correct position........a striker he is not.

Too often on his heels and wants the ball played to his feet.

Vip took his goal beautifully but barely touched the ball besides that. I don't remember one instance of him holding the ball up (not that Cullen did either).

He got Infront of the defenders lovely for his goal, Watford defence were probably shocked after our main striker had as much movement as a fence post.
Vipotnik held the ball up before the goal, took it down and laid it off to the midfielder on the front foot, facing the oppositions goal.

Fair enough, he held it up the same amount of times as Cullen in a lot less time at the pitch if you're right. Still, doing something once is hardly enough to get excited about. Vipotnik is marginally better at holding the ball than Cullen (mainly due to being bigger and stronger) but it's certainly not a strength of his.

Also, Cullen showed plenty of movement, it's just a shame that he was offside after most of them.

I’ve no idea what he was trying to do at the first free kick. Seemed to encourage another player to get behind the wall into an offside position. The wall wasn’t impressed and just stood their ground. Bizarre.

He is so frustrating. He can be so clever with the ball at his feet but his intelligence off the ball whilst we are attacking is disgusting and just kils us attack wise.
Sheehan must have felt like a right lemon after talking him up Thursday in his pressers.
