• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Yeah, between Lebanon and Mount Juliet. Not heard anyone mention Murfreesboro in that way before, but I can see it now you mention it. A lot of US town squares, at least in the south, look very similar, I assume as a lot of them were established around the same time.
Have you been to Geodis park?

Close, but I'm in middle Tennessee, about 30 miles east of Nashville. I try and catch a few Titans games each season. At the very least, I'm aiming to get to the Patriots game for the return of Vrabel and the Chiefs game because, well, it's the Chiefs and I haven't seen Mahomes and co in the flesh yet, so would like to rectify that.
Last season at the Nissan isn't it, building a new state of the art stadium right next to it .

Not yet. Closest I've come was when the FIFA Club World Cap was in town recently; I was tempted to go to one of those games, but other plans got in the way. So far I've had zero interest in watching a Nashville SC game; all the games seem to be evening kick-off which is a negative for me. I looked up tickets when they played Inter MIami a year or so ago as I thought it'd be cool to see Messi play - but the tickets available were about $1500 a seat so......nope.

I think next season will be their last season at Nissan Stadium, then they'll play the 2027 season at the imaginatively-titled New Nissan Stadium.

Absolute humdinger of a game between the Ravens and Bills last night (40-41 to the Bills). Ravens 15 points up with 4 minutes left in the 4th.

Titans are still Titaning. Oline horrid, check. Tons of penalties, check. Bizarre playcalling, check. Had double the number of turnovers (+ 2 turnovers on downs) and still lost, check.

Went when i was in Nashville last summer, played New York City in a 2-2 draw, enjoyed it, think i paid something like $45 dollars each, think it was off a season ticket holder that didn't go. Good crowd as well about 25,000 if i remember.

Chiefs v Eagles tonight (9.25) will be fun. Its on C5

This Giants v Cowboys is wonderfully awful

A defensive lineman for the Giants gave away 4 penalties in 4 plays earlier, the Giants have given away 14 in the whole game

It’s looking like a double stinker in NY this season. The Titans also look like they are doing their utmost to he part of the race to the bottom.

My favourite part was the Giants defense committing 3 penalties on one play (with a 4th missed by the refs), only for them all to be negated by Lamb getting a taunting penalty, the stupid twat.

A first win for Vrabel. I have been on the Pats forum for decades. Cryami Lolphins is the pet name for the Dolphins. We havent won there for 5 years. Up and running. Maye looked very good. The feeling is the Miami coach, has fallen off the wagon. His post game conference was baffling.

Mike McDaniel looked like a boy genius while he was Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers. Since going to the Dolphins, he looks like he's been hanging out with Tony Montana and doing a lot of coke...
