• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Nuts to sack the manager who gave them Euro football for the first time in 30 odd years

Then again his comments last week did seem like he was asking to be fired when he said that he no longer had a working relationship with his chairman

A lot going on behind the scenes between the manager and the owner and it was all a matter of time before he was axed. Nuno will get another job, the owner will employ a new head coach, life goes on at Forest until the next time Forest's owner throws his toys out of the pram when the club's head coach has the audacity to question the decisions made by his employer.

Oh well, Nuno will get several million quid pay off and will not be short of suitors after getting Forest into Europe

Didn’t have any choice but to sack him.
Nuno decided to do a Wolves on us, moaning to the press
The players he cried about came in a flood
Still he moaned and couldn’t get on with Edu with recruitment.

Refused to quit though, as that doesn’t leave your pockets full.
After what he did against West Ham, it was either remove him, or the team suffers.

That’s another Mardy tantrum on his CV.
Good manager, yet has an inner child that gets the better of him
