My son came with me last night he rarely attends these days, although he was the reason i became a ST holder 20 years ago as he was so desperate to come to every game.
It was great to relive those great days together again and i am sure that you and your grandson will look back on last night as one of those lifelong moments that remind us why our family are so important to us. Every time that goal is replayed like Trundle against Yeovil, Mark Gower against Norwich and Pratley against Forest we think back to those we were with some of whom are still here some who have passed.
That’s why sport is great but supporting your local team against the odds is always up there stuck in the back of your head.
Equally the utter bar steward took a video of me jumping and screaming when the 3rd goal went in and put it on social media!! Grumpy Old Man almost looks happy for a moment
Not that your grandson could do that to you but i am sure you could spin your chair around a lot

It’s magical L,truly magical.
I feel sorry for people who don’t get it.
Oh and if I see the video anywhere there’ll be no need to thank me for posting it.

It's great when you see the emotion in a youngster like that when it involves the club.
I had my 10yr old son and his mate sat next to me and when celebrating the 3rd goal, my sons friend tapped me and as I turned to look at him, he said my name and had a worried/shocked face and just said "My legs are shaking"
The adrenaline and excitement had just taken over. I told him that it was ok, my legs were the same and sit down......he carried on standing with just a shear shock in his face at what had just happened in front of him with his legs shaking from shear adrenaline after Burgess had smacked the winner in.
