Alan Sheehan on Birmingham City | Reaction

Yep this is a poor presser. No accountability for sitting back for 45 minutes ffs.

I'm not sure what people want him to say. If he throws the players under the bus and blame mentality or tiredness we would all complain. On flip side what else is he supposed say about debrief? It seems he cannot win in some people's eyes. Hold your breath people if your panicking now over a loss its gonna be a long season for you. We are still building something. Sheehan has even admitted we are far from what we want to be. You praise him on Wednesday and we are going up then you have a dig a few days later.

There's a difference between questioning a decision and having a dig. We've been undone twice in injury time this week after a long period of second half defending for a point or 3.

Sheehan is on borrowed time; he'll be on his way up to Ibrox soon anyway, thank God.

Good news for all the drama queens, Strictly started tonight 🙌 🕺💃.

We did defend well but again the game was too close for comfort. Another good performance overall. Hull get a big win. We look in the right position in the league which is a decent start to build on.

In the poll a few weeks ago, well over 90% of people had us to finish somewhere between 3rd and 12th. Which on one hand is great, because there hasn't that much positivity amongst the fanbase for years.

On the other hand, I think some people have got a little bit giddy with it. I get it to an extent, because we haven't seen this much money spent on the squad in a long time, it is exciting. But we also have to be realistic. Firstly, because a lot of the spending simply filled gaps in the squad that should have been sorted a while ago. And secondly, we've not exactly bought players who are used to operating at the higher end of this division. A lot of them are punts on potential, like Inoussa and Widell. Only Burgess really has that kind of experience.

So for us to be where we are in the table right now, with the performances we've seen, feels about right to me. We're a much improved side, but very much still in development.

There are a few people too (you know who you are) who when Sheehan was appointed was disappointed, because they thought we were Barcelona and should be appointing Klopp or something, and made a statement along the lines of, I wouldn't have made this decision but I will support him now that he's our manager
.......................... Then don't.

Quite a few are looking for reasons to dig, feignt praise when we win but on a roll when we lose.

The odd one's are Cardiff fans too.

We are not doing bad at this moment, we can do better yes. If we lose every week and start flirting with disaster, then there would be a reason to doubt and look for change. If we're still in the same postion in 6 months and no improvement then maybe that would be a reason to start doubting.

Right now, we're doing OK.

Absolutely.
Right now we are miles ahead of the Martin, Duff, and Williams era, Sub standard manager's.
New owners putting some real cash in. Glass mostly full for me, watch this space...
