Turns out that one of the two people killed (not including the attacker) was accidentally shot dead by the police. That’s…unfortunate.

Must be awful for the officers concerned, I was going to say earlier, but I was waiting to find out all about it, but at the moment it’s looking pretty amateur to end up hitting and killing another. But who knows what runs through anyone’s mind, when you suspect someone has a bomb. From what I read, the innocent guy accidentally shot by police was holding the door closed against the attacker and took a bullet through the door. If this is correct, I'm amazed the police fired at the attacker with the risk of hitting worshippers on the other side of the door. At least aim low for his legs to minimise the chance of collateral damage. Don't they get training on this kind of thing?
I'd imagine their training is second to none. It's a high pressure situation, again in which they are highly trained, they literally have seconds to process the situation and act. Not a job that anyone could do. The guy was potentially carrying explosives. Did they know someone was behind the door, theres a million questions to be answered, and I assume there will be a full investigation. It's a really tragic situation for all involved.Must be awful for the officers concerned, I was going to say earlier, but I was waiting to find out all about it, but at the moment it’s looking pretty amateur to end up hitting and killing another.
