World Cup 2026 Qualifier | The Official Match Thread | Cymru 2 Belgium 4 | 13/10/25 | The Cardiff City Stadium

I had the radio coverage on when picking my son up from football training. Heard the Rodon goal go in on the way down and got back in the car just in time to hear them score the penalty.

Cue a pearler from Nathan Blake who thinks that VAR shouldn't be in football and if it has to, it should be ex-players in charge, as they 'see the game differently to referees'. All this coming from one of the most thick sounding ex-footballers I've ever heard speak.

I was expecting NM to comfortably beat Kazakhstan tonight so a draw wouldn’t have been any good for us, but it’s 0-0 at half time.

If it does stay like that it’s important that we don’t get tonked here because goal difference will be the decider and we’re currently 5 behind them - going into the last match above them would change the complexion of that one a lot. Even better if we can somehow nick a point here.

Sucker punched by a bollocks penalty that wouldn't have been given in the other box.

Could have been 2-0 up at that point

Davies’s legs have gone, Nico Williams can’t defend and Ampadu apart from giving a stonewaller away hasn’t done much…again!!
