• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Further to my above question I visited the club shop today and as suspected click and collect has been done away. However what surprised me the most was that there is now no season ticket discount on shop purchases, no loyalty cash awards nothing. I’m not a regular shop purchase person but I was very surprised by the lack of anything for season ticket holder's

There was a bit of info about the shop a while back but didn’t realise that they had dropped Swans points, I have some cash back on my account but not enough to buy anything with considering i am a ST holder have bought several tickets for every cup round to date and bought a shirt i would have thought i would have generated a bit of loyalty cash

From my memory it was done away with at the end of last season when we were sent emails advising us to use any points we'd collected.

Season tickets need to become a lot more attractive to potential buyers and supporters. I'm sure many other clubs offer decent reward programmes for season ticket holders and the Swans are truly missing out on an opportunity to generate more butts on seats. The points programme want anything special, but it somewhat incentivized purchased at the store and give, at least in small part, a sense of payback for the loyalty.

The commercial department is a joke. Increasing income to help FFP is an easy task but year after year the merchandise on offer at the club shop is very poor.
2026 calendars not available yet , no Xmas range. It’s pathetic really.
