Well worth an hour or so of anyone's time. Some really interesting stuff in here.
Infrastructure investments aren't counted towards PSR so yes, potentially we wouldn't have to make "rent" payments to the council any more.Buying the stadium is a big thing and it looks like it's being discussed and purchase wouldn't effect PSR.
What would be more beneficial, owning the stadium or continue renting?Infrastructure investments aren't counted towards PSR so yes, potentially we wouldn't have to make "rent" payments to the council any more.
Having the ground not owned by the club does offer us a certain protection however and the prospect of that no longer being the case should be treated with caution. There have been several cases of clubs having problems with their home stadium being sold or manipulated out from under them.
I was extremely apprehensive when he was appointed originally due to the Bristol Rovers fans opinions but the more I hear him speak gives me a much better impression of him.Listening to Mr Gorringe talk gives me a semi. What an articulate switched on young man he sounds. I reckon we’ve got a good one here.

While you can never be 100%, I'm almost certain the council aren't going to boot the club out, unless they stop paying rent. What would be more beneficial, owning the stadium or continue renting?
Council would certainly know better to boot the club out. While you can never be 100%, I'm almost certain the council aren't going to boot the club out, unless they stop paying rent.
For me the benefit in ownership would be in expansion, but since we can't fill the stadium regularly currently i'd say any money earmarked for buying the stadium would be better spent elsewhere.
