• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I wonder how long she's last if Starmer is replaced by Christmas?

According to this article he in the current opinion polls he is the most unpopular Prime Minister in the history of modern opinion polling.

Now that takes some doing when you consider the shit that has gone before him.

Dear God - the thought of Wes Streeting toppling Starmer is abhorrent. Starmer may not be everyone's cup of tea, including mine, but you have to respect his depth of experience and strength of character. In contrast, Streeting has been a political activist throughout his working career and most of his jobs, bar one short stint in consultancy, were for political organisations. He's as far removed from the working woman and man in the street as the rest of the elite.

The lack of credible, inspiring politicians is scary. The working class version of the Labour Party died a long time ago.

Not so sure we share the same levels of respect for Sir Kier 😊

We got career politicians these days the days of actual politicians are long gone, they all aspire to higher greater things.

They can get rid of him, but there'll be another goon taking his place, I'd love to see him Reeves, Lammy and Miliband gone!

This budget is going to be a cluster fuck, they won't last much longer.

For them to go, a large number of Labour MPs would need to vote for a general election in the full knowledge that they’ll lose their seats and will be hugely unlikely g9 find themselves another job paying the same sort of money.

It’s just not going to happen.

They just need to trigger a leadership contest not a general election. Not that I’m advocating either.

Edit - re read the post you were responding to. Makes sense now.
